Dec 26

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends. Hope you had a wonderful day celebrating. Our day was a little different- Ron noticed a flat tire on the trailer so we had to get that changed right away--it was a small stone embedded in the tire. Glad we weren't on the road at the time. After that we took a walk down the Mississippi river .It is up 12 FEET today with all the rain in the last few days! I had put some pork ribs in the crockpot to cook all day and that was delicious.
Getting here was a bit tricky as we were in a torrential downpour for at least 40 miles coming down the Natchez Trace on Dec. 24. What a storm that was!! We did pull over at one time to let all the traffic behind us pass. One good thing with all that rain --some of the dirt that we have picked up all over the trailer got washed OFF.What a mess it is.
Ron has caught a cold somewhere and so were doctoring it up with Tylenol and cough syrup. It seems to be working already.
Tomorrow were on the road again heading for Onalaska Texas, We will make it through Louisiana in 1 day.We could be off line for a couple of days again. So everyone take care and we'll talk again soon. Ron and Dee
