Tues,Dec 30. catching up as we had no internet on the trace. what a great highway. i don't think we passed 50 other cars on it.it was a sunny ,blue cloudless sky all day and got up to 70 degrees by the time we pulled off to camp for the night.Had a couple of detours around it for whatever reason and at one time we stopped at gas station and bought gas for $1.36 .It was only a topup --too bad!!Saw many deer just waiting to cross to the other side--had to be on the lookout all the time for them.For the night we stopped at a free campground with no hydro or electric. Our battery got a good workout, and we did just fine. Heated bathrooms---go figure!!
