We finished the Trace this afternoon by 1:00. I spoke to a lady from Bothwell today who has used this route every time her and hubbie come south. They love it too.We are now siitting in a rv park on the Mississippi River in Vidalia La. There have been many tugboats and frieghters go by already. Its about 54 degrees and a bit windy.Its across from Natchez Miss. and everyone has an accent except us and the other canadians here. Tues,Dec 30. catching up as we had no internet on the trace. what a great highway. i don't think we passed 50 other cars on it.it was a sunny ,blue cloudless sky all day and got up to 70 degrees by the time we pulled off to camp for the night.Had a couple of detours around it for whatever reason and at one time we stopped at gas station and bought gas for $1.36 .It was only a topup --too bad!!Saw many deer just waiting to cross to the other side--had to be on the lookout all the time for them.For the night we stopped at a free campground with no hydro or electric. Our battery got a good workout, and we did just fine. Heated bathrooms---go figure!!

Hi everyone.Made it safely to Loiusville Kent. by 5:00.Started this morning at bridge by 6:00,so it has been a long day. it actually got to 48 deg. and sunny by the time we arrived. We had very strong headwinds all the way though.will probably hit the sac early!! Tomorrow we plan to travel the Natchez Trace just south of Nashville and take our time(no transports allowed on it).it goes as far as Natchez , mississippi.Hope you guys had a great day and we'll talk to you tomorrow Bye for now DD and Ron (special HI to Emily , Trent and Logan)
